Beard looks steady and that’s a relief.

 

Looking at the UT stats it’s hard to see how Oregon is still in this game.  Simms 7-11 for 76, Tauren Poole 15 carries for 145.

 

Looks like the Tennessee game plan is to put the game on the shoulders of Darren Thomas, and he’s responded fairly well running and passing, broken free on a couple of runs.

 

The Vols have done a great job of containing LaMichael James.  He has to improve his hands out of the backfield.  It would add a lot to his game.
