2nd Quarter

Really, really hideous job of preparation by the defensive coaches. Think USC can run on Oregon?

Bruins have to be perfect on 13 plays to score a touchdown. They're not likely to achieve that for more than two or three times in the game.

15-3 Ducks, and the Bruins are four field goals behind. If the Ducks answer with a touchdown, they'll start to get discouraged. Crunches.

Huff with a solid, sure-handed return.

All the Ducks offensive skill players have touched the ball, Thomas, Paulson, Maehl, James, Davis, Tuinei, Huff, and Alston all have positive games. James is auditioning for the Heisman. All he needs now is a signature run to cap off his night.

Now Huff for a touchdown, and Thomas has all the time in the world to find him. Tremendous job by the offensive line tonight. Going to go kiss my wife. She's watching "Housewives of Washington D.C." in the other room.

Now the Bruins have to throw, and that's not good for them.

Horrible tackle by Boyett. Really bad effort. The interior defensive line has stiffened, and that looks good.

3rd and long again.

Paysinger has to come in under control.

Crazy punt return play, but the Bruins stayed home. That could have been a disaster. Crunches.

I'm going to have Eddie Pleasant abs by the end of the game.

Thomas a perfect 10 for 10. James with another nice run, and now some deception.

Thomas 11- for -11, to Maehl this time.

And now Paulson short arms one, and Maehl drops one, but the Ducks get bailed out by roughing the passer.

James 9 carries for 80 yards, unofficially.

Paulson with a nice grab in the end zone, and just tosses the ball to the official. That's class. I'll switch it up and do squats this time.

Great coverage by the kickoff team. Considering how many kickoffs they defend a game, they've been tremendously consistent this year.

Bruins are losing their will to compete. They've actually played hard to this point, and done some good things, but it has to be discouraging to look up and see it's 29-3 and they've showed no signs of slowing Oregon down. Flawless offensive execution, especially by the offensive line.

There's no mercy rule in college football.

Defense with three good plays, three and out.

Oregon's getting jobbed by the computers, aren't they? Those computer guys must be friends of Larry Scott.

The deception on the mesh is improving every game.

Every player in the Ducks rotation has gotten multiple touches.

Thomas is feeling it, and so are his receivers.

Thomas 16-18 221 yards, 2 tds. Thomas for Davy O'Brien.

Beard 6-for-6 on field goals. As close to a perfect first half as an offense can play.
