Elimination Games

Pat Forde of ESPN has a list of elimination games remaining on the FBS national schedule, games between unbeaten teams with major BCS implications:

LSU at Auburn, Oct. 23

Nebraska at Oklahoma State, Oct. 23

Missouri at Nebraska, Oct. 30

TCU at Utah, Nov. 6

Boise State at Nevada, Nov. 26

Oklahoma at Oklahoma State, Nov. 27

To that list, I would add these three "field thinners" on this week's schedule. They don't involve two unbeatens, but they do have potentially serious BCS implications:

#12 Arkansas at #7 Auburn

Texas at #5 Nebraska

#1 Ohio State at #18 Wisconsin

A wounded Texas team could be Nebraska's most serious test so far. The loser is out in the Arkansas-Auburn contest, and Terrelle Pryor has had a couple of the worst games of his career against Wisconsin. The Badgers are big and physical and will be fired up for tOSU.

The Ducks could wake up on Sunday and be number one in the nation, with another entire set of expectations and questions to avoid.
