The X-Man Cometh: Xadavien Sims prepared to blow up an offense near you

Defensive lineman Xadavien Sims is pure, raw power, a disruptive force on the football field who will get Oregon fans excited and make game-changing plays.

He's 6-3, 275, the top player in Oklahoma, a quick, physical brute who can destroy what an opponent wants to do. On the Roc Boys Youtube channel they said, "He's a game wrecker, he's a pocket collapser."

Sims committed to the Ducks on May 20th, taking his official visit on June 16th. Just 17, he's a 2024 recruit who begins his college career next year.

He told Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports, “As soon as I touched campus I loved it. By the time we started the photo shoot I knew that was where I wanted to be. Everyone there is connected like a family and what’s at Oregon you can’t really find anywhere else in the country.”

The junior from Durant, Oklahoma chose the Ducks over Oklahoma, Michigan St., Vanderbilt and TCU. He's a strong, explosive athlete who also lines up at tight end. This spring he won the state 5A title in the discus with a throw of 161 feet, 10 inches. That's disciplined and focused power.

He'll be a disruptive monster on the Oregon defensive line. Fans are going to love the intensity and passion he brings to the game.
