In this week's Sports Illustrated, the R-G's George Schroeder suggests expectations might be too high for the Ducks. Losing 3 starters on the o-line too much.

  1. I didn't read his article, but I agree that we are more likely to do well in 2012 than 2011. My hope is to win the Rose Bowl this season and the National Championship next season.

  2. August,

Thanks for your comment. 2012, with DT as a senior with five fast receivers, looks like an intriguing year. The loss of LMJ and Cliff Harris, with both likely to go early to the NFL, will be a challenge, but after two tremendous recruiting years, the Ducks will have a deep cupboard.

The outlook is pretty good, this year and next, and you may be right, 2012 could be their best chance.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
