Report in the Wall Street Journal says commissioner Larry Scott is seeking a 10-year, $220 million-a-year deal for the PAC-12's new broadcasting package.  Cowabunga, dude.  That's a lot of Butterfingers.

  1. I sure hope he gets that deal done. The SEC can add aTm and VATech, then hit CBS/ESPN for $500MM/year.

  2. You SEC guys can't ever let us have any fun without one-upping us. Don't you have a NASCAR race to drive to or something?

Take care EC. We'll see you and all your cousins on September 3rd, and maybe again in January.

  3. just what i want, the SEC to earn 500 million without any decent quarterback play and the prevalent terrible offenses. oh the visual travesty...

  4. too funny. --I can't wait to run that one by EC: "SEC football is a visual travesty." Would you like to write a guest column?

    Thanks for reading and commenting,

  5. sure, i can write a guest column! but i'll keep it civil. case in point, i won't comment on "aTm", which as far as i'm concerned, is how SEC fans formulate their thought processes. (sorry, i couldn't help it!)

  6. If you're serious about the guest column, send it to email at duckfanmo@yahoo.com, and we'll print it up--"The SEC is a visual travesty"--too much. Have to use a real name though. You get a byline.
