They said the same thing about Locker. Not that Luck and Locker aren't on two completely different planets, but still. I like James' chance, assuming he doesn't share too much of the load with our plethora of tailbacks next year!
James will have a great junior year, and 18-20 carries a game, he'll stay fresher. The Ducks depth at running back will allow them to use him more effectively next season, I think. He got beat up and wore down this year.
I wonder how the NFL's potential lockout and new collective bargain agreement will weigh in Luck's decision. Be interesting to see, for sure.
Not knocking LMJ at all--the Heisman is a quarterback award. A running back has to approach 2,000 yards most years to get an equal chance.
