Rush to Non-Judgment

The decision to declare Cam Newton eligible clears up some competitive on-the-field questions, but begs several others.

The Tigers will be able to compete at full strength in the SEC title game, and Newton will no doubt collect the Heisman, but how does the NCAA square this with their decision in the Reggie Bush case?

Apparently they've admitted that THEY have a lack of institutional control. It seems like they've created a very large loophole that agents and scouts can now use with impunity. If Newton is eligible, who wouldn't be?
