Don't Forget The Fat Kids Living the Dream

Incisive information man Rob Moseley had this key factoid from yesterday's game: "the Ducks didn't have a single run for lost yardage during the day, and Thomas wasn't sacked."

With 388 yards rushing and 626 total yards, the offensive line has to get tremendous credit in this victory.

Despite trailing 21-3 at the end of the first quarter with two costly turnovers in 14 minutes, Oregon dominated this game and made a statement, to the tune of 31 first downs and 52 points. The offensive wore Stanford's defensive front seven down and broke LaMichael James loose for 257 yards. In all, the o-line has spearheaded 2,866 total yards this season through five games, tops in the country.

Now, James has to be on the first page of national Heisman stories. And if he were to get an invite to New York, he would give credit to his coaches and teammates, beginning with Mark Asper, Bo Thran, Carson York, Jordan Holmes, C.E. Kaiser, Nick Cody, and Darrion Weems.
