Cam Newton with 191 yards rushing and 2 tds, 10/16 86 yds passing as Auburn leads LSU 24-17. He’s the Heisman frontrunner at this point, and deserves to be. Hard to compete with a player who is 80% of a dynamic offense. Oregon fans have to love LaMichael and Darron, but Newton is having a legendary, statue-worthy season.
Could Oregon neutralize him, having Eddie Pleasant operate as a spy? We may have the opportunity to find out.
