Week 8 in the PAC-10

UCLA at Oregon

Ducks will likely be number one in the nation in the human polls.  UCLA is 1-2 in the conference and 3-3 overall, and banged up.  Thursday night under the lights on ESPN, and Thomas is throwing well in practice.

 Arizona State at Cal

Both teams 1-2 in conference, 3-3 overall, and fighting to stay relevant and bowl eligible.  ASU coming off a bye, the Bears off a beatdown by the Trojans.  The hot seat and internet grumbling heats up for the loser.

 Washington at Arizona

Battle of 2-1s.  Nick Foles left today in the second quarter today with a leg injury.  The Huskies have been on an emotional roller coaster all year, alternating great and miserable games.  After today’s overtime win over the Beavers they’ll have to refocus quickly

 Washington State at Stanford

The Cardinal coming off a bye, 5-1 and 2-1 in the conference.  Cougars are still searching for  their elusive first conference win despite some good efforts.   Andrew Luck probably throws for 400 in this one, and Tuel for 250 or so.

USC and Oregon State have byes.
