When Darron Thomas misses, his passes sail high. It’s something that happens with young quarterbacks. It’s a footwork problem. They’re not completely set, and their arm action takes the pass high and wide. Helfrich will see it, and steady him, and he’ll improve week by week. Darron is a very teachable and intuitive young man who wants to get better.
