450 yards, 45 points, a shutout on defense. The numbers are perfect, but the play had its highs and lows. The Ducks got a few nicks, bumps and bruises, notably Paulson and Barner, a cause for concern. Great to see Malachi Lewis get another chance and reel it in after five years of hard work and a little disappointment.
Around the PAC-10 OSU 35-21 late in the third over Louisville, Stanford, Arizona and UCLA later tonight. SC sleepwalked past Minnesota 32-21, Arizona State played very hard but came up short at #11 Wisconsin 20-19.
Nationally Alabama, Ohio State and TCU rolled but Oklahoma sneaked by Air Force 27-24.
Nebraska clubbed Washington 56-21. Locker: 4-20, 71 yards, 1 td, 2 int. Let the hype dissipate.
#8 Huskers have South Dakota State next week. Wisconsin hosts Austin Peay in week four before traveling to Michigan State in week five.
Clemson leads #10 Auburn on the road 10-0.
First half stats from OSN: 450 yards to 39, but Portland State has dominated time of possession 18 minutes to 12. Chip Kelly is losing control of the Oregon offense.
