Espn.com reports Nick Foles limped off in the second quarter supported by two trainers, and the Wildcats used the ground game from there to hold off Washington State 24-7. 5-1 Cats host Washington next week, then UCLA, Stanford and USC before a bye week and then Oregon on November 26. Backup Matt Scott was 13-18 off the bench for 138 yards.
The Wildcat defense did a much better job than Oregon of holding Jeff Tuel in check, holding him to 13-26 for 143 yards.
Jake Locker runs for another first down, Huskies driving leading 14-0.
