Sarkisian should check to see if Athletic Director Scott Woodward has any eligibility left. He has a better backpedal than anyone in his secondary.
Woodward gave a radio interview in Seattle prior to the UW-Oregon game where he had a lot of critical things to say about Oregon's facilities, academics and priorities, and today he's issued a "clarification."
Some people should never speak off the cuff. And an athletic director at a rival institution ought to have the good sense to speak diplomatically about a school that has kicked his behind seven straight years.
For us oldtimers, it's just one more reason to dislike the Huskies, and savor a 37-point victory.
The mind moves the masses. Woodward should have used his a little more carefully before running off at the mouth.
I imagine the president, board of regents, and the human resource dept of UW are very proud of the hire. I understand Woodward left LSU under a dark cloud and now its over Seattle.
